RUSSLAVBANK (est. 1990) offers over 6,000 corporate customers a wide range of banking products and services across various industry sectors.
In 1999, RUSSLAVBANK launched an international system of remittances and payments between individuals called the CONTACT system. Transfers would be implemented without the need of a physical bank account, initiated via authorized partners, online and the telephone and delivered via a global network of correspondent banks.
With a strong network already established across Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), RUSSLAVBANK required a partner with an established network to support payments in additional countries.
In September 2009, RUSSLAVBANK selected Earthport’s white-label cross-border payment service to enable money transfers direct to an individual’s account outside of Russia and the CIS. Since launch the service has become increasingly popular amongst migrant workers, students, tourists and those who have no bank account in local banks.
Today hundreds kinds of payments can be made via the CONTACT money transfer system in RUB, USD and Euros in more than 100 countries across the world.
Recognised as a leading money transfer service, in 2010 Earthport took the decision to utilize the CONTACT system’s payments network to facilitate their own customers payments in both Russia and the CIS. As a result, Earthport is today able to make low-cost, secure, high volume payments across the region.

This facility is especially suitable for companies with a global workforce, allowing corporates to concentrate on running their core businesses, whist delivering a fast, secure and hassle-free payroll to their employees.
With an established reputation for providing a full-service payroll experience that is accurate and timely, AMS needed to ensure that their client’s employees working in other countries got paid on time, every time, irrespective of where the client was headquartered or the employee was based. This was proving especially difficult – especially for staff paid weekly.
In 2011, AMS selected Earthport to support the delivery of tax-efficient payroll services and facilitate international payments for corporate customers with payrolls in excess of £1 million. This new solution means AMS can now receive and transfer international funds much faster and more efficiently than before – delivering a seamless experience to customers.
